September 2010

Resting in the continuum. Reading the connections. Rolling through time.
9.1.2010

Restoring flow. Familiar cycles resume.
9.2.2010

Flow resumes. A vortex appears. Diving inward again.
9.3.2010

Winding down a gravity well. There's no escaping this strange attractor.
9.4.2010

Many choices. All good. The future as a constantly shuffled stack of possibilities. Pick a phylogon, any phylogon.
9.5.2010

In full bloom. Center of attention. All eyes on the work.
9.6.2010

Layers and spaces. New places. New ways. Shaped by the surroundings.
9.7.2010

Opening to the ocean.
9.8.2010

The dance expands. The cycle opens and begins to engage the world.
9.9.2010

Four crows on the fence. All cawing. I forgot my coffee.
9.10.2010

Worlds overlap. The final stage of releasing the work. In a clear moment it crosses from inside to out and in both at the same time.
9.11.2010

The day after. Exhausted. The energy is dispersed and everything sparkles less.
9.12.2010

Worlds layering. Overlapping, intersecting frames.
9.13.2010

Overlapping frames persist. Time is more finely divided. Multitasking counts. Each new season brings a different kind of work.
9.14.2010

Busy frames. Quiet frames. What is moving through the frames?
9.15.2010

Settling down. Consolidating. New hybrid way of life. Everything normalizes eventually.
9.16.2010

The calendar subdivides flow. Arranging time, back and forth, through days and months. Appointments overlap.
9.17.2010

Calendar days rolling by. Scheduled events with only a few blank spots.
9.18.2010

Turning inward. Observing the self forms the self.
9.19.2010

I was sketching today when I got a strong image of a two armed vortex. I studied it. After it became more symmetrical, a third arm formed.
9.20.2010

Multiple open frames signal new opportunities. A good chance to step back and observe decision making from the inside.
9.21.2010

Diverse steps. Slow growth. Moving through tasks. Each moment of the process is the same as the finished moment.
9.22.2010

Two experiences of reality. Frames unfolding - seamless flow. Frames overlapping - complicated transitions.
9.23.2010

Inner loop. Outer loop. Even the landscape has a cycle.
9.24.2010

Inner growth. The experience of processing that growth. The reflections that normalize the experience.
9.25.2010

Timeline visualization. Start with immediate appointments. Locate the past and the future. Connect the points. Step way off the line and look back.
9.26.2010

We pushed back and waited on the tarmac for over an hour. I watched the activity around the terminal for a while then dropped the tray table and started to draw. Drawing was my comfort. It was my quiet timeless place to explore while part of my mind dealt with the delay and uncertainty. The last figure of the drawing gave me the message: planes!
9.27.2010

Personal stories. Distilling 20 years of experiences into 2 hours of lessons. I'm the one learning.
9.28.2010

The grind. Layers and reflections. Sleeping sitting up. Remembering and planning. Coffee in a cup.
9.29.2010

Open. Seeking the sun.
