The book I wrote about my daily drawing practice, the results of which you see here every day, about how daily drawing brought me to examine my own creativity, was released today from Parallax Press. I got to the gallery at about 2pm and they had already sold 6 books so I set to work at once drawing inside them and signing them. I had a little break around 3:30 when I got as much of today's drawing done as I could. Just after 4pm people started arriving to see the show and buy books and I continued drawing until after 7. It was a really fun evening - my idea of a great party where people are talking, drinking wine, and having fun while I am drawing away.
