|Pear meets vessel - the resonance I felt in Vermont is entering the studio and I'm inviting it to be part of the work.|
|Images of vessels reappeared full force as I returned to the studio but they are no longer isolated - they seem to reside now in different contexts. Today's drawing looks to me like an archeological relic, buried in sedimentary layers, and waiting for unearthing.|

rise or fall.
|A vessel emerging from rocks is counterintuitive but, if you think about it, that's exactly what happened.|

great folds galaxies
