7.17.2016 Symbols related to the landscape have become persistent in the daily drawings over the last month; maybe prompted by our unusually hot summer, disquiet amongst the trees, several very bright, clear moons, or a water table that rain never seems to satisfy? I have nicknamed one of the symbols a 'disk' because it resembles the circle of a planet seen from afar and another, that looks like a segmented sphere, I call a 'projection'. These two signs have been alternately popping up in the drawings. A frequent swapping of these symbols suggests stories about shifting global viewpoints and competing worldviews.
