	How can two days of travel last a week?

	Last Thursday I walked around NYC, hugging the shade, visiting the galleries in Chelsea, seeing old friends, opening my mind, sneaking in a haircut, and downing a quick espresso. As the shadows crossed the avenues and the humidity broke, I changed into a 'good' shirt, sat down to engaging conversation in a nice restaurant, and arrived home in the country hours later, missing city life.
