A priest, visiting Casanova in Venice,
in prison, under the lead roof of the Doge's palace,
predicted Casanova's imprisonment would end
on the festival day of his patron saint.

Casanova managed to escape his cell as the clock struck midnight
on October 31st, observing that his patron saint (if he had one)
would certainly be included in the festivities,
since all saints were celebrated on that day.
