Marks on paper that spring from inspiration,
Repeating the tale of life renewed.
|Getting it together.|
Letting awareness fall back into itself.
Not trying to make that happen. Not resisting anything that is happening.
Simply being still. And it happens all by itself.
|Yearn, long for, pine for, itch for, crave, wish for, hanker for, lust for, want, pant for, hunger for, burn for, covet, thirst for, ache for, have one's heart set on, desire.|

...so...here's the thing with the writing (or lack of it)...I mean...if I don't keep practicing then I may stop altogether; and I don't want that. But my muse is telling me to write in the first person and up to now I have avoided writing in my own voice because I don't want this to sound like a blog or a journal, which it is NOT!
To get myself to continue I am going to release all my fears about how this project is perceived and go directly to the place of resistance. So I promise to sit here, and write, and listen to myself chatter on; hoping a window will open and I'll see a way through.
|This shape shows up so consistently in my newest sketches that I have started researching ways to make it into a large sculpture. I think the shape symbolizes reality wrapping around me, creating an illusion or image in front of me, and always leaving a break in the material through which I can escape.|
